Description

ARTIST: Bobby Vinton & The Bobby Vinton Orchestra
LABEL: Bobby 105 (Early 60's)
TITLE: Hallelujah b/w Twilight Time
CONDITION:
Labels: Have some numbers on each side and the vocal side has a radio staion sticker and a very tiny stain
Record: Retains decent gloss w/ some light surface scuffs and some sleeve storage marks. Plays VG++ w/ some light random background surface noise. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Bobby Vinton originally aspired to lead a big band, and made big band versions of contemporary hits on his first recordings in the early '60s on the Bobby label. The A Side is a pretty pedestrian big band instrumental version of the standard but the B Side is a pretty rockin' uptempo vocal version of the Ray Charles classic w/ fine Bobby Vinton vocal and a cool sax solo.
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
