Vinyl was play tested through Focal Elegia's and it played as EX+. I numerically score the vinyl a 92 with the A-side a 91 and the B-side a 93. The driving issues are a bit of light surface noise throughout A1 (the instrumental, cited on the label as the first track though not on the sleeve) with a bit of surface noise between tracks and into the lead in of the tracks along with what could have been a couple of missed dust flecks, with one more noticeable on A5. There was also a fleck on B4 and the light surface noise was present but to a lesser degree on this side. A visual inspection does reveal a number of surface marks (and spindle marks on both sides, someone somewhere was at least a little blind) however not enough to drop the grade to VG+. Visual it's probably more like EX- and the play quality is pretty close to NM- but it's safely an EX; this is second Japanese copy of this album I've played and without question this vinyl has it all where it counts (and is probably getting played again tonight because it's such a great album).
The sleeve is scored as EX (and is as close to NM as can possibly be) relative to very light corner wear (which really stand out against the pink frame), a super light 'dimple' along the bottom seam running 26mm and a deeper dimple along the spine (going in about 1mm) running 3mm above the word 'Bon' and finally a dimple on the girls neck running 3mm x 1mm (you'll only see it on certain angles) and beyond that I saw no issues. I'm really beating on the sleeve right now and this is as close to NM as you'll probably find. There are supposed to be two inserts and there is only one which shows a fair amount wrinkle wear and the OBI shows only light wear. Numerically I am scoring the sleeve a 93.
