Description
If you're a fan of "Bonanza," you won't want to miss this opportunity to invite Hoss, Little Joe, Adam and Ben Cartwright into your living rooms this Christmas season. Better yet, why not pack up some supplies and spend the holidays with Ben and the boys on the sprawling Ponderosa ranch? Little Joe's cooked up some cider and hot cocoa, and Adam's popped some corn. Come set a spell!
Offered here is an excellent copy of the super rare STEREO pressing of the 1963 vinyl LP, "Bonanza Christmas On The Ponderosa" (RCA LSP 2757). One of the best TV tie-in holiday albums ever made, this one features entertaining Christmas-themed performances from the show's original TV cast: Lorne Green, Dan Blocker, Michael Landon, and Pernell Roberts. Produced by Joe Reisman and written, arranged and conducted by Ken Darby from orchestrations by Hank Levine.
This is a beautiful copy of the very hard to find stereo pressing, with super clean vinyl on both sides that appears to be unplayed. (There's no hint of spindle wear on the sharp black RCA labels that feature Nipper, the RCA dog, at the top of each label.) The jacket is in Very Good Plus condition, structurally solid with bright colors and acceptable minor shelfwear.
