Disc One: Side 1: K.K. Boogie, Kenny Kersey (Henry Allen & Orch); recorded 5/17/41, original release: Okeh 6281. Side 2: A-Flat Dream, James P. Johnson; recorded 6/14/39, previously unissued (as of this release).
Disc Two: Side 1: Little Joe From Chicago, Mary Lou Williams; recorded 10/12/39, previously unissued. Side 2: Boogie Woogie, Pete Johnson; recorded 10/13/39; previously unissued.
Disc Three: Side 1: Dupree Shake Dance, Champion Jack Dupree; recorded 1/28/41, original release: Okeh 06104. Side 2: Bear Trap Blues, Jimmy Yancey; recorded 2/23/40, original release: Vocalion 05490.
Disc Four: Side 1: Honky Tonk Train Blues, Meade Lux Lewis; recorded 1929, original release: Paramount 12896. Side 2: Hastings Street, Charlie Spand with Blind Blake - recorded 1929, original release: Paramount 12863.

Record condition: Very good to excellent clean shellac with clean labels.
Cover condition: Good cover with wear at edges and corners, but with solid seam and spine.
Notes: Released in 1947 and contains material recorded 1n 1939 and 1941, some previously unissued. Meade Lux Lewis cut first issued on Paramount. Charlie Spand and Blind Blake also on Paramount.
