80’s Boston Hardcore Vinyl Collection: SS Decontrol, FU’s, Freeze, Gang Green, Jerry’s Kids, Proletariat, Boston Not LA / Unsafe at Any Speed Vinyl Collection, RARE, consisting of one (1) each of the following:
This is Boston Not L.A. Compilation Vinyl LP, 33 RPM, Modern Methods Records MM-012A, 1982, including tracks by Jerry’s Kids, The Proletariat, The Groinoids, The F.U.’s, Gang Green, Decadence, and The Freeze. This is the original Boston hardcore explosion – one of the best compilations ever (in my opinion).
Unsafe at any Speed Compilation 7” Vinyl, 33 RPM, Modern Methods Records MM-014A, 1982, including one track by each of the following: Jerry’s Kids, The Proletariat, The Groinoids, The F.U.’s, Gang Green, and The Freeze. This is the follow-up to Boston Not LA.

SS Decontrol – Get It Away 12” Vinyl EP, 33 RPM, X Claim! Records, 1983, with original insert. This also has Pushead cover art.

Jerry’s Kids – Is This My World? Vinyl LP, 33 RPM, X Claim! Records X-62, 1983.
The Freeze – Land of the Lost 12” Vinyl LP, 33 RPM, Modern Methods MM021, 1984, with original insert.
The Freeze – Guilty Face 7” Vinyl 45 RPM EP, Modern Methods MM018, 1984, with original insert.
Gang Green – Terrorize / Taang Dub 7” Vinyl 45, Taang Records TAANG!-1, 1984, with original insert. This is the infamous cover you have all seen; the first release on Taang Records.
The Proletariat - Indifference Vinyl LP, 33 RPM, Homestead Records / Dutch East India Trading Records HMS052, 1985.
These are all from my personal collection (I am the original and only prior owner). To the best of my knowledge, all of these are first pressings. This is a rare opportunity to pick up the early, rare, vinyl recordings from a truly historic era – Boston Hardcore!
