This album is beautiful PSYCHEDELIA with WEIRD arrangments - collage of different sounds. BAROQUE chamber combo, jazzy parts, PSYCHEDELIC SOUND EFFECTS, HEAVY ACID FUZZ PSYCH guitar, even SITAR ... All songs are really great! AWESOME album with COOL STONED DREAMY sphere. All lyrics are in Dutch. Each side has it's own name: side 1 is "Picknick" and side 2 is "De Tuin Der Lusten (Garden Of Delights)"
SCARCE underground Holland-only album recorded in 1967. Together with Nacht & Ontij, PICKNICK is considered as Boudewijn two best and most psychedelic works.
