Welcome to this listing for a superb Boxed Set of THE BEATLES COLLECTION.  This is a collection of all the Beatles' recordings as taken directly off the Master tapes and mastered at half speed by the Mobile Fidelity group then pressed in Japan.  Originally issued in 1982 with only 25,000 copies made.  Each vinyl album was mastered individually, one at a time, and captures the true essence of The Beatles as they recorded live in-studio.  This boxed set also comes with a Geo Disc which you lay on top of your turntable to provide the perfect playing base for each album.  You will hear the difference and feel as if you are right there in the Apple studios and other recording studios The Beatles recorded at with Sir George Martin at the mixing board.  Pure, perfect, true Audio-Phile quality sound.  You're missing the true Beatles listening experience if you're not listening to their recorded tracks in this audio format and pressing!  Each record is individually wrapped in special anti-static protective inner sleeves and is then in a separate paper jacket with photos of the original master reel to reel tapes so it really makes this boxed set extra special.  The outer case/box features a metal latch to keep the box safely shut when not in use and a plastic inset with grooves to hold each album in place.  This is the perfect gift for the Beatles fan on your list-even for yourself!  A true collector's item.  These boxed sets were a very limited release.  This particular boxed set is number 17921 and does come with a certificate of authentication.  Please note that on one or two sides of the outer box, there are a couple of tiny scuffs from shelf movement-see photos, otherwise the case/box is in overall very good clean condition.   Each album jacket and album inside is in MINT super clean condition!  Some of the vinyl records have never been played, but if those that were played, it was on an extremely high-end audio-phile hi-fi equipment and handled practically with gloved hands!   I will ship this wonderful boxed set in the U.S. only via either Parcel Select, Media Mail or Priority Mail and I usually ship one day after cleared payment has been received.  The box by itself weighs about 15 pounds, and wrapped with lots of protection for shipping will weigh about 17 to 18 pounds total.  Thanks so much for visiting this listing.
