Description

BRAD TERRY, CHARLIE KEIL, STEVE SWALLOW, CHUCK FOLDS, private recording, plain white label, blue vinyl, silk-screen cover.

This is a privately pressed vanity record, which we guess dates from around 1960 or possibly earlier. The setting is informal, with some chatter between songs. The musicians are Brad Terry (clarinet, alto sax), Charlie Keil (piano), Steve Swallow (bass), Chuck Folds (drums). Whether this is the same Chuck Folds who plays piano and has recorded for Arbors is unknown.
The tunes are Straight No Chaser, As Time Goes By, Time On My Hands, Mean To Me, Night and Day, You're a Sweetheart, Fine and Dandy, Get Happy, Just Squeeze Me, Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, I Guess I'll Have To Change My Plan, Oh Baby.

Condition of record is V++, some scuffing, no scratches, no spindle marks, plays with slight surface noise at beginning of each side. Jacket shows some wear, spine is completely split, tape repair along bottom, tape stain along spine. Writing on back, identifying some of the tunes.
CONDITION TERMS We play grade all of our records on quality equipment. We offer a money back guarantee that condition is as described. Plus (+) or Minus (-) indicates variations.
M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect. Shiny surface, no groove wear.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
