Brahms Violin Oistrakh UK Columbia SAX 2411 Magic Notes
David Oistrakh with the French National Orchestra conducted by Otto Klemperer performs the Brahms Violin Concerto. An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2411), the labels are blue/green with silver border and radio waves, and a black Columbia and stereophonic flash. The record has some light surface scuffs and is otherwise of very good appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise - there are few low-level clicks at the start of side one. The cover has slight rubbing and a couple of creases in the laminate – otherwise in excellent condition.
