Description

This is a RARE genuine original DEMONSTRATION sample of the 1965 Brian Auger Trinity release GREEN ONIONS '65/KIKO. 

Columbia Catalogue Number:   DB 7715

Matrices:  Green Onions:  7XCA 28540 - 1    Kiko:  7XCA 28541 - 1

Stamper Codes:  Green Onions  1 G   Kiko:  1 A  (Both sides have KT stamped at 12 o'clock)

Apart from its obvious rareity value this is increased by both sides having FIRST PRESS stamper codes.  It is unfortunate that the record labels have sticker marks on each side (more accentuated on Kiko), but this is still a very collectible record for Brian Auger fans and Demo collectors alike.

The vinyl has a light scratch on Green Onions, but this doesn't affect the sound quality in any way. Kiko is free from scratches and both sides sound superb.  The original Columbia sleeve is in excellent condition - no splits, tears, stickers or other marks.

I would rate this record - using Record Collector's grading system - as just below Excellent (due to the sticker marks). However, I would never seek to mislead anyone, so if it does not meet expectation I will accept return of the record (in it's present condition) and make full refund.

The record will be despatched in a 7" mailer, with stiffeners, using recorded delivery (UK) or Airmail for overseas.
