Description
IN A LAND OF CLEAR COLORS
LP + BOOK by BRIAN ENO, ROBERT SHECKLEY & with narration by PETER SINFIELD. Music by BRIAN ENO
Issued privately in 1979 by GALERIA EL MENSAJERO (IBIZA), this is an ultra rare (limited to 1000) Multimedia album (Book & LP Record) titled IN A LAND OF CLEAR COLORS. The book and disc are encased in a cardboard box. The book has 36 pages of text and artwork. The music was exclusively composed by BRIAN ENO, who at the time was residing in Ibiza and was friendly with the people who ran the gallery.
The narration is by Peter Sinfield. This is a limited edition of 1000 - although I would be surprised if more than a few dozen have survived as most were unsold! I received this item from a friend of mine who was involved with the producers of this item in Ibiza in the 1970's. This is the only copy I have managed to acquire!!
This set has a roman number written with a pencil, and it seems to be one of the 50 copies numbered with roman nubers (as stated in the colphon).. For those into avant garde artists editions, fluxus related, broken music ecc.
Condition (visually graded):the box has some wear here and there on the front cover (white paper) and on the edges, book and vinyl are clean and excellent
Shipping by registered mail is
