Brian Poole and the Tremeloes Unreleased Decca Records Factory Sample (Not For Sale) - Twist And Shout - Mono LP - 1963. Unique never released as an LP in this format with this track listing. Condition is VG, plays through with just the odd click and minor background noise. Please read on; Here is a true early 1960s Mega Rare LP by Brian Poole and the Tremeloes from 1963 - Twist And Shout. This is a genuine Decca Factory Sample, Not for Sale. Condition is VG+, plays fine with just the odd click. This is probably the only copy with this track listing as the track listing on the vinyl is not as listed on the official 1963 Decca release - Twist and Shout LP. The Matrix number on this pressing is unique. This Factory Sample has 12 tracks, the official release - Decca LK 4550 Mono LP recording has 16 tracks as listed and crossed out on the back sleeve of this cover - (see photos). The sleeve is the official 1963 release of the finished LP as released by Decca records, the tracks on this vinyl have been handwritten in the order they appear on this factory sample vinyl. This pressing was made as a sample only to listen back to in the recording studio to hear how the tracks sounded. Six of the Tracks on this copy never made it to the final official release of Twist And Shout LP.. the tracks are - Do You Love Me, Swing On A Star, Mister Baseman, Why Can't You Love Me, Yakety Yak, Candy Man. Most of these appeared later as singles, B - sides or on EPs. The light Blue label has the matrix number handwritten on both sides, the matrix number is also factory stamped on both sides and is unique to this pressing. Side 1, ARL 6243-2A, Side 2, ARL 6244-2A. Comes with the original Decca inner sleeve which has the Sample label at the opening (pic 12). Also handwritten on the labels is LL.3364, Brian Poole Side 1, LL.3364, Brian Poole Side 2.
