Description

JAZZ RECORDS 1897-1942 by Brian Rust, 1978. 4th Revised and Enlarged Edtion. Two hard cover books in very good condition. The dust jackets have a couple of nicks and small tape-repaired tears, but still neat and clean. The bindings are strong and tight.

Volume 1 - Irving Aaronson to Abe Lyman. 992 pages.

Volume 2 - Abe Lyman to Bob Zurke. 1004 pages.

An exhaustive study - 1,996 total pages covering some 30,000 recordings, 16,000 titles, 10,000 performers, and much more. Includes titles, dates, vocalists, personnel etc.
