 Bruce Haack on Dimension 5 D 181 Stereo. "This Old Man"
Cover is in Near Mint condition. (still in the shrink wrap. some
of the shrink wrap has peeled off but most of it is still intact)
Record is in VG++ condition. Bruce Haack is an electronic /
synthesizer pioneer who made much of his own instruments
starting in the 1960s and is known for releasing a number of very
strange LPs.  Most of these LPs were designed for school age children
and for teaching? purposes.  Bruce did do some guest appearances
on the Mister Rodgers TV show in the 1960s and 70s.  Interest in him as
an underground and strange outsider artist has reached cult status and much
has been written about him. just search out his name on google and youtube
and you'll find information.  This record was released in 1974, and on this LP
Bruce has left behind his former partner Esther Nelson and is working solo.
Like most other Bruce Haack LPs, this record also is quite strange and features avant
garde electronic synthesizer music with Bruce's strange singing and narration.
Psychedelic in a way but probably more just plain weird. According to the liner notes:
"Most of the music on this album was programmed on a polyphonic music computer
built by Bruce Haack from surplus parts furnished by Ver-Tech Radio of Philadelphia.
The machine was made in 18 months- without diagrams or plans (Bruce has never studied
electronics) and will produce up to twelve simultaneous voices in changing sequence via
a memory holding over four thousand bits of information. It will also compose at random"

GRADING OF RECORDS

MINT – record looks new and perfect looking. Not many records make this grade.
NEAR MINT – record is ‘like new” very clean with only possibly the most minor and superficial of marks.
VG++ record has only very minor surface marks and wear and is in excellent condition.
VG+ record shows some surface marks but the record is still in relatively good shape. no feel-able scratches
VG  record shows a fair amount of wear. may have feel-able scratches
G  record shows excessive wear.
