Description

An original 1978 1st press on Columbia in the USA. Stamped "TML-M". Labels are consistent with very 1st press. The vinyl comes housed in an original heavy-card cover printed in the USA. The original thick-card inner sleeve is present as is the lyric insert. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) A lovely slab of vinyl and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just slight deviation in a couple of tracks. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Not much to dislike here - just good clean audio for the most part. At worst I could detect a few crackles during 'Something In The Night' & Racing In The Street'... nothing noticeable that would distract the listener. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In remarkable condition - the original owner must have been one fastidious individual. Front and back are clean and flat with barely any signs of wear or creasing. Edge wear is extremely limited and the openings are still nice and sharp. The spine is almost perfect. Just a slight bit of wear at the letters 'SPRING' in 'Springsteen' - otherwise very very impressive. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity - in part thanks to the heavy card employed in manufacture.
Inner (Ex) Minimal signs of wear. No splits.
Lyric Sheet (Ex) Very fragile and in amazing condition [all things considered].
