Description
This is a 2 LP recording of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band from 1973-75 from various (mostly audience) sources. This album was conceived to present recordings of radically different versions of Springsteen songs and odd cover versions. Pretty amazing lengthy versions of songs presented concisely on the pre-Born to Run albums. Trivia: the version of "Santa Claus..." that you hear played ad nauseam at Christmas on classic rawk stations first appeared on this album.
I bought this directly from the manufacturer while in high school. It is in excellent condition but is the second pressing (first pressings were red vinyl with blank labels). Track Listing: Saint in the City ; E Street ; New York Serenade ; Lost in the Flood ; For you (slow version) ; Night ; 10th Avenue Freeze-out (slow version) ; Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street ; You Can Never Tell ; Wear My Ring Around Your Neck ; It's my Life ; Sha la la ; Santa Claus is Coming to Town ; It's Gonna Work Out Fine ; Up on the Roof.
