Description
***MEGA RARE*** Bruce Springsteen Oh Boy! Vinyl LP, unofficial release on clear transparent vinyl, promotional copy not for sale, numbered limited edition, this is number 129. Ref JCA615.
Vinyl produced in Greece, sleeve in Morocco, according to the insert.
The sleeve is in VG condition, comes with yellow double page inner with track listings, see pictures. Housed in plain white paper sleeve. Vinyl is clear transparent vinyl, and looks in VG condition, however on playback, there is a skip at the very start of track 1 side 1 (Oh Boy!) and some surface noise at the end of side 1 runout. Side 2 plays fine, with only some light surface noise on the run out end of final track. Please note I use a heavy stylus.
The sound quality is generally ok, fairly typical of 1980s unofficial releases, captures The Boss at his best on some classic covers during the 70's and early 80's, all details are included in the yellow insert. "HighSchool Confidential" is misprinted on the rear sleeve track listings, listed as "High School Confidential" in the insert. Includes a live performance of "The Promise" from 1978, later released on The Promise compilation.
