Description

Original 1980 U.S. pressing of Bruce Springsteen’s landmark double album The River on Columbia Records (PC2 36854).

This copy retains the original factory shrink wrap with the desirable blue hype sticker and includes the original gatefold cover, lyric booklet, and both original printed inner sleeves.

The deadwax includes the MASTERED BY CAPITOL stamp, confirming an early Capitol-mastered U.S. pressing. Based on the visible matrix information and pressing characteristics, this appears to be an early original U.S. issue.

Vinyl appears clean with only light cosmetic handling wear. Jacket presents very well beneath the original shrink.

A complete original copy that displays exceptionally well and is increasingly difficult to find with all original components intact.

Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description.

Seller Notes

Original 1980 U.S. Columbia pressing. Factory shrink with original blue hype sticker still attached. Includes lyric booklet and both original printed inner sleeves. Capitol-mastered deadwax. Complete copy.
