Description

Bruce Springsteen Vinyl Lp #C2 86600 The Rising 2002 1st Press Ex-NM Double Lp

The vinyl is near flawless from the near perfect labels ( a mark on one of the 4 sides ) to the amazing wax with deep grooves, extremely dark and glossy, and look unplayed with maybe a couple very faint hairlines on any side. Both of the original picture inner sleaves look new and are in great shape with very light ring wear. The cover has full gloss, no cutouts splits or rips, three solid corners, amazing colors, crisp and smooth to the touch, and looks a solid EX and would be NM if not for the one corner. Overall an amazing copy.

Springsteen felt compelled to record The Rising when, in the aftermath of the attacks on September 11, 2001, a stranger in an adjacent vehicle rolled down his window and said: "We need you now"
