Description
Incredibly rare first stereo pressing with the Gold/Cream labels. ASD 493
This copy plays excellently overall but please read carefully.
Cover has no creases and is excellent with a couple of things to note. The edges are nice and clean and sharp with no rubbing or wear. Opening crisp and spine clearly legible. There is a rectangle along rear bottom left where it looks like a sticker has left it’s residue just below the HMV box covering the writing. It’s not sticky and has not torn the cover. Small tear on top right of flip back, see pictures. Other than these in great shape.
Vinyl has a few very light marks as you’d expect from a record of this age but is nice and clean and shiny overall. Has been professionally cleaned.
Side one plays Ex+, really great with only the very occasional very light crackle, even in quiet passages.
Side 2 plays Ex mainly with a few parts where you can here a little very light crackle in the quietest passages and at the very end in the last minute or so.
There are No scratches or loud pops and repeated clicks on the record. It’s a really great copy overall but please do bear in mind that’s it’s not totally without any very light noise/faint crackle. Side 1 is particularly good as stated. Please do not buy if you’re expecting perfection, but you’d be hard pushed to find much better.
