Xtreme Rare! Another Rare Gem from Don Russell's fabulous collection of Jazz Records amassed over the past 50+ years & now being offered to discriminating buyers for the 1st time! It has only appeared for sale on Discogs or other selling sites a hand full of times in the 57 years since new in 1962! Research from Discogs state several were sold at a price between a Low of $440 to a High of $595 on its site.
To find this record in any condition would be rare, however to find it in this remarkable Near Mint fine condition after 57 years is a breathtaking find! Will be of considerable interest to all Jazz Collectors, Rare Record Collectors & Investors alike!
Starting it at a much lower price than it sold for on discogs in the past so you may get a bargain,but I am gambling that the right people see it before the listing ends!
This record has been specially selected from a fabulous collection of rare records passionately collected over the past 50+ YEARS by me & my 2 friends who had long careers as Radio Disc Jockeys.My rare record collection has been combined with their even rarer records to sell on Ebay!
You can be assured that all records for sale have been specially selected for their rarity & quality. All have been scrupulously cared for & played on the finest quality radio station/private players. Although most are in the 30/50+ year old age group,they are in exceptional fine condition,many never played,others played once to tape or played once or twice on the radio station.These were then stored properly upright with a heavy plastic cover & for the most part have remained that way for those 30/50 years to be now sorted & sold at an attractive price to discriminating record collectors! These will include many exciting & rare records,many never seen for sale or only rarely! From my Radio DJ friends collection are many rare Test Pressings & Radio Promotion Records (many are the duplicate 2nd copies that were never played) plus personally signed & autographed records. Many are from well known artists,others are from 1st timers wanting to break into the difficult to enter Music business who only sold a small number,which are now equally rare! There are also original studio pressings & studio Reel to Reel tapes & Live Recorded Theatre performances etc etc And of course all the favourite ones including Beatles,Queen,Dillon,AC/DC,Elvis,Madonna etc.All in GREAT CONDITION!
