Description
FOR AUCTION IS: Buckingham Nicks Buckingham Nicks LP 1973 Polydor OOP!
The record that put Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks in Fleetwood Mac. 'Buckingham Nicks' (1973) was cut at Sound City in Los Angeles, produced by Keith Olsen — and it was Olsen playing the track 'Frozen Love' at Sound City over a year later that caught Mick Fleetwood's ear and led him to ask Buckingham to join his band. Buckingham said yes on one condition: that Nicks, his musical and romantic partner, came with him. They officially joined Fleetwood Mac on December 31, 1974, and 'Crystal' from this very album was re-recorded for Fleetwood Mac's self-titled 1975 record. This Polydor original stayed out of print for decades — for most of that time, this LP was the only way to hear where it all started. The vinyl has visible hairlines and light scuffs. The gatefold shows rubbing, edge and corner wear, creasing and age-related discoloration (on the bottom of its gatefold jacket looks like either water stain or humidity exposure), jacket itself is sturdy, see pictures. VERY RARE 1ST PRESS STERLING STAMPED ON MATRIX. PACKED IN HIGH QUALITY INNER SLEEVE. ULTRASONIC CLEANED!
