Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 1598, The Amazing Bud Powell Time Waits, a blue and white, microgroove, deep groove, 47 West 63rd label, original mono issue of this classic record with the ear (p) mark and RVG stamped in the dead wax and no R. The record is in VG+(+) condition (a strong VG+) showing some light marks and playing quietly with occasional light background chatter well under the music, mostly in the quiet parts and between tracks. But there is no distortion of the music and no skips. The original laminated cover has some light edge wear and a three inch split on the open end of the top seam. The labels are excellent. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned ultrasonically and on a VPI 17. This is a fine collector's grade copy of this wonderful original mono Blue Note.
