Description

Rare first press of Buddy Guy's landmark album 'A Man and the Blues'.  The analog sound is extraordinary on this stellar blues session with Buddy Guy and his crack band featuring the famous Otis Spann on piano.  Vinyl nice and shiny.  Graded VG+ because there here are hairlines on the album.  During quieter passages there is some audible surface noise present and an occasional small pop, but not dominant and overall very nice copy.   Cover is VG+.  No seam splits.  Front very vibrant colors with some rub wear.  Back has some rub spots as seen in picture.   This pressing has the mojo.   You may luck out (as I did) and find a NM version to trade up to but they are not common.  In the meantime, this is an extremely enjoyable copy that will beat the pants off of any CD or reissue version. Cleaned on VPI record machine.
