Description

This is a hard to find, pretty rare, Buddy Holly and the Crickets early, 1957 album. I think it is the first press album as it has the textured cover on the front side. This record is well played. I would rate the record and cover both Around VG- to VG. It has a generic plastic inner sleeve, but nothing original.

The record has numerous scratches, although most of them can’t be felt. The record will play fine with no skips, but it has some occasional light pops and a lot of low level static under the music. The cover has some edge scuffs, and the right side record opening area has some nicks up and down the surface. It also has an approximately 1-1/2 inch split at the top near the end, near the opening. It also has an approximately 2 -1/4 inch middle split on the very bottom. Please check the photos closely for complete details.
