Description
For auction is a very rare 1959 German Buddy Holly and The Crickets Vol.3 e.p. on Coral 94160 EPC. The date 12.59 is printed on the back.
Condition is not mint.
The main problem is that someone has, unforgivably, stuck tape on the back cover. This was obviously done a long time ago. Why it’s been done I don’t know, because it is not covering any rip or other flaw in the cover. It is cultural vandalism in my opinion. Whoever did it should be slapped repeatedly! Otherwise it’s OK, with just some minor creasing and edge scuffing. Look at the photos and see what you think.

The record has fine surface marks along with hairline scratches; nothing serious however. I played it today and it plays right through without jumping or sticking. There is some background crackle, which is to be expected, and some popping on ‘It’s Too Late’ but this is a quiet ballad. The overall ‘sound’ of the record is very full and rich.
Having said that, I don’t know why you’d want to play it!
