The Brunswick record label was managed by Decca's Coral Records subsidiary. American Decca made Brunswick its leading Rock and Roll label, featuring artists such as The Crickets. Records by Buddy Holly and Buddy Holly and the Crickets were later released on the co-owned Coral Records.

As well as Buddy Holly it recorded pop artists McGuire Sisters, Teresa Brewer and, briefly in the late 1950s, Debbie Reynolds with such songs as "Tammy". Coral was absorbed by MCA Records in the late 1960s and the MCA Coral label became the company's mid-line and budget reissue label in the U.S. and internationally throughout the 1970s.
