Description
The Byrds "All I Really Want To Do" 1965 white label promo on Columbia 4-43332, same song pressed both sides. What makes this copy very rare and special is that there are significant spots of black vinyl mixed into the red. This would have been from the very beginning of the pressing when there were still a few black vinyl pellets in the pressing machine hopper. This likely affected less than 1% of the pressing. Checking popsike and I can only find 2 examples over the past couple decades of any Byrds red vinyl promos with black vinyl mixed in, and only one of those examples was this title. Very hard-to-find item for the Byrds completist.
Vinyl is conservatively VG+ or better, showing virtually no signs of previous play. The Columbia label sleeve is also VG+ with just minimal rumpling, NO seam splits, NO writing. Please see all pics for best visual description of the condition.
I have been dealing in records for 25+ years. All records are sent in new Bags Unlimited brand mailers, properly packed with the vinyl outside the cover to avoid seam splits in transit.
