TRIP THRU HELL ALBUM FROM 1968

THIS IS THE REAL THING ON THE CANDY FLOSS LABEL

CATALOG NUMBER IS CF-7764S / IN STEREO

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE AMAZING OLD 60'S VINYL PRESSES THAT PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY-       ANY NOISE IS EXTREMELY MINOR - STILL SOUNDS GREAT!

The Album Jacket is pretty decent and has a great provenance to go with it. As you can see in the Pictures the front of the Album jacket appears to have a beverage ring stain on the face. Your eyes are not playing tricks on you, it happened. And it really bummed me out at the time because I had just received my very own copy from Ken Erwin who was the mastermind behind the C.A. Quintet's unique sound. See, I live in Minnesota and was friends with the Band back then and years following and even still today! The unfortunate stain was caused by a young hippie chick who set her Tequila Sunrise on my new album jacket one hot summer night back then (1971) on the front porch of Ken's house where my brother also lived.  She tried to wipe it off only making things worse. She was somewhat of an aspiring artist and tried to fix it for me sometime later and, well, it is what it is! Back then it bothered me but today I think it is kind of a cool reminder of that time in history.  I guess in someways it is sort of fitting considering the Psychedelic era and our then elevated state of consciousness. The rest of the Jacket is fine and the vinyl itself is great! I have included some extra photos of Ken & my brother and a few friends from back in the day for your enjoyment and enrichment!

Peace & Love!
