Hailing from Sardinia, Cadmo where a jazz-prog trio that had their debut on the legendary Vedette label (Metamorfosi) in 1977. While their members [Antonello Salis (keyboards) Riccardo Lay (bass) Mario Paliano (drums)] are nowadays considered among the best jazz musicians in Italy, in the seventies they still enjoyed mixing up several musical influences, a sort of  jazz-rock  sound oriented with original mediterranean-folk roots.
So please expect a musical range that starts with Soft Machine-alike freeform crescendos, wild jazz rock in the best Italian tradition and tribal/ethnical Mediterranean influenced tracks not far away from Mauro Pagani, always with an outstanding top-notch musicianship.

This is the one and only Lp published in 1977. After the Cadmo experience, Antonello Salis played piano solo and joined other bands like Aires Tango. In 1999 he played the piano accordion in the project "Viandante Immaginario". His live performances are really overwhelming and amazing !

Jacket :    VG+  

Light cardboard jacket in very good plus condition, ring wear on both cover sides, corners with minimal wear, seams and spine intact. A few light creases visible along the spine,

Vinyl :   NM 

Under a strong lamp the vinyl is beautiful and shiny, probably played just a couple of times, without any signs or marks. A definitive copy.

Catalogue/Label :

VEDETTE VPA 8335 (stereo) original Italian pressing.

Small deep grrove label is clean with no marks around the spindle hole. 

GRADING CODE

Grading is VISUAL, under a bright light. 

        NM  (Near Mint): Record has been opened, and probably played, but is in impeccable condition. I do not use "mint".

EX   (Excellent): Has signs of use or storage, but still considered top collection quality. Jackets may display some very light wear; vinyl may have a few light sleeve marks only visible in the highest light. Sound will full and clear, with little if any noise (NOTE, some records are just pressed poorly).

VG+ (Very Good Plus): Still a great copy but has a bit more wear. Vinyl may have some light scuffs or scratches, but nothing deep. Jacket may have some ringwear or seamwear. Sound should be great, with minimal if any noise.

VG  Very Good): A great play copy but clearly used. Vinyl will display many hairline scuffs or scratches, but will play with a tolerable amount of noise. Jacket may have splits and wear but will not be falling apart.

VG-(Very Good Minus): A used or worn copy, that has not been taken good care of. Vinyl will have many scuffs or scratches, but play through enjoyably despite audible background noise. Covers will have tears, splits, writing, or other issues. 

VG+ Fair, Poor: A very rough copy. Will play through without skipping unless otherwise noted, although records of this grade are sold AS-IS.
