Description
Up for auction is a super nice original copy of the Cal Tjader album "Cal Tjader Goes Latin" originally released in the U.S. on Fantasy Records (3289) in 1959.

Condition: The cover is in beautiful condition with only minor signs of age. Front lamination still retains its original high gloss shine, no rubbing loss or ring wear. Back cover is nice, no ring wear, no writing, no rubbing loss. Has a number written in blue in upper right corner. Corners are very sharp, one with light crease, no chipping. Seams are strong, intact, no splits, no chipping, no cracking. Beautifully preserved cover. Grade the cover Excellent (EX).
The vinyl is also in beautiful condition, still retains its original glossy shine and luster. No apparent scratches or scuffs. Labels are clean. Just some light signs of having been taken out of original paper inner sleeve a few times.
Play-Tested: I have play tested this record, and the sound quality, when played in recommended Mono Mode, is excellent, generally very clear and clean, which is unusual for these colored vinyl pressings. Not audiophile clean, but one of the cleaner original pressings you're going to find. Grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM).
