Description
I bought this when it was first released in the early 70s. Only ever played on high end equipment with 1gm of stylus pressure. I haven’t played it for 40 years apart from last week when I checked it.
All photos from the actual LP. Taken in daylight, outside, you might see some reflections in the disk photos. You can also see the identity of the disk engraved around the disk label.
Sleeve
Some minor delamination of the outer cellophane relative to the printed card – visible on the photos. Print on the sleeve edge is in good condition apart from a small ding between the 2 and the 9 of the UAS 29414 at the top of the edge. Somebody wrote my name in ballpoint on the back – “John”, otherwise everything on the back is clean apart from the minor delamination near the edges, which are clearly evident in the photo.
Inner sleeve
It’s the original, as you can see. Slightly crumpled where you insert the record. A tear on one side next to the label.
Disk
There are no scratch or finger marks. There appear to be some moisture marks at the bottom of side A (see photo) and one or two on side B (also evident in the photo). The disk plays well with a small number of minor crackles which I’m sure will disappear with a good clean. I have not attempted to clean the disk.
