Ridiculously rare LP, by Caña Brava. It's an studio project by the legendary latin funk heroes Tito Duarte and Juan Marquez. Half of these tracks are not released as 45’s and this LP doesn’t turn up anywhere near as often as many other “big” rarities.
Fantastically wide musical spectrum – some tracks are intriguing SOFT POP in the veins of Vainica Doble (PIENSALO BIEN), while others are completely outstanding FUNK DANCERS of the highest calibre… with HAMMOND, LOUD DRUMS/PERCUSSION and FLUTE (MELOCHA). Other tracks are a blend of Cuban rhythms and pop with good percussion and good guitar playing in “Aunque te vayas muy lejos" and the SECOND FUNK BOMB on the LP – “Bla, bla, bli, bli”- with some kind of freaky fuzz guitar and some superb jazz piano playing on top of the hard hittin’ drums and powerful horn section.
I can guarantee this is one of the very few times you are to see this LP and perhaps the best one you’ll see. Serious euro funk rarity.
