Description

Bev Gore-Langton
on his keyboards
"in the Persian Room"

Vinyl + cover: VG++ / VG++
Year of Issue: 1971?
Label: Studio 3 (independent)
Country of issue: Canada
Catalogue #: ST60 IRC
Format: 12" LP

A killer dreamy lounge LP from Bev's gig at the legendary Persian Room exotic dance & strip club.  Not quite like any other I've heard, to be played LOUD!  Contains an all encompassing near-psychedelic version of "Scarborough Fair", a great take on Bacharach's "Raindrops", and many more.  Not just organ - there's plenty of primitive synth-percussion as well.  Released by Studio 3, a tiny Canadian label.  Another rare IRC pressing!
