Canned Heat
'70' Concert'
Liberty, UK, 1970
LBS 83333
KILLER LIVE album from the kings of boogie. Forget the Quo, forget Foghat and pretend that Savoy Brown never existed because Canned Heat out boogie the lot of them. The best thing about this album is its sheer unrelenting loyalty to the blues and, of course, a bevy of wonderful toons. Stand out track is 'Let's Work Together', a worldwide smash hit single, but cuts like 'That's All Right Mama', 'Bring It On Home' and the glorious medley 'Back Out On The Road/On The Road Again'.
Wonderful stuff and a milestone blues rock album. Highly recommended.
