ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Giveaway (freebie) release celebrating London's first independant music radio station which began broadcasting in 1973. In order to obtain this record, you had to personally visit their headquarters at Euston Tower, London on that afternoon & request a free record. Unfortunatly for me, I had to go to school & unable to skip lessons on that particular day, so I phoned them up & explained my situation & requested if they could possibly post it to me, which they very kindly did!
The record itself is narrated by top former Radio 1 DJ Kenney Everett, & features various comedy sketches, lots of (then) current Capital Radio jingles, a spoof news report, & speech by the Queen. Lots of banter from (then) current DJ's, & the icing on the cake is a GENUINE speech from JOHN LENNON together with an extract from his song "Love"
I believe there were no more than a few hundred of these special promotional discs pressed. Certainly it never comes up for sale. The beauty of this is also that it also contains a unique complimentary slip, which would not normally have come with this record. The company sleeve is a bit tatty, but should be easily replaceable from an old Alice Cooper record!
Please note that QUEEN do not appear on this disc. I have only mentioned the name because Freddie Mercury was a close friend of Kenney Everett

All records are shipped with the vinyl separated from any picture sleeves (inner & outer), & placed in a plain sleeve outside the picture sleeve to avoid seam splits during shipping.
