Description

CAPTAIN BEEFHEART & HIS MAGIC BAND
STRICTLY PERSONAL Liberty 68 A1B1
orig LP VG
LBS83172

USA made sleeve & UK record.

SLEEVE with blue thumb catalogue No.
has some very slight ringwear but
generaly VG++ to nr EX condition,

LABELS have a couple of spindle marks,

VINYL is generally nr EX condition but there is a nasty
surface scuff covering the first 2 tracks of side 1.

To be honest the scuff does give a very low level click
but really not too noticeable.

Generally the album has excellent audio.
Item 911

For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,

Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies,
with a Quad Amp set-up.

For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.

First clean with purified water and isopropanol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.

The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.

The l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness
in the alcohol water mix.
