Description

This is an overall fine original U.S. pressing copy of a 1980 LP by Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band.  Another strong effort from Beefheart after his lackluster mid-'70s output, the record is similar in sound to 1978's Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller), though it's somewhat less accessible overall.  The jacket has two main flaws: a 6” slit in the spine and a deep 4+” crease in one corner.  It's otherwise in fine condition with some light creasing and staining.  I'll grade it EX- since the spine slit doesn't impact its appearance.  The disc is clean, and plays close to M- with occasional light surface noise (EX+).

I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
