PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
INSANELY RARE NON-AUTOCOUPLED Terre Haute gatefold label variant of this mad Zappa-produced cult kitchen sink masterpiece from January, 1970 on Straight with work order number and catalog number 2MS 2027 to the left of the center hole, catalog number STS 1053 on the cover, NO stereo text at the bottom of the labels, Moonlight On Vermont listed as Moonlight In Vermont on the side A label and both original printed inner sleeves!!! I have had around 15-20 copies of this LP pass through my hands in my 45 years of collecting and selling and I have never seen this variant before. I did find a Discogs entry for this pressing but as I expected there wasn't a single copy available for sale. THAT'S how you know it's rare. LP sides 1 & 2 are VG+ with a few light paper scuffs and sides 3 & 4 are a beautiful VG++/NM- with a few barely visible paper scuffs. Cover is VG- with a four and a half piece of thin transparent tape at the openings on top. This is the copy you want to play and enjoy.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
