Description
This is a fine original US pressing copy of the rare debut LP by British group Caravan, released in 1969. The record is often pitched as "psych," but while it shares the general vibe of the time, I find the music more like the early records of fellow Canterbury alums the Soft Machine, though less adventurous. Indeed, it's a somewhat more "pop" oriented affair than their subsequent releases, but a terrific record nonetheless (for those who might be put off by that label). The jacket has a cutout hole, corner creasing and wear, light staining on the back cover, and a small tear in the top seam (EX-). The disc is clean, and plays with minimal surface noise (EX+, downgraded a bit because the sound of the pressing is a bit murky).

I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. Many records were purchased new. Most were played just 1-2 times and taped. I have visually graded discs except where otherwise noted, and have tried to err on the side of caution when imperfections are apparent.
