This is one from my personal collection.  A rare and beautifully preserved copy of one of the best and rarest prog rock LP's of the early 70's.  I am not a dealer, simply a lover of fine music. I am parting with some rare and valuable items over the next few weeks so keep looking. There may be something that interests you.

This is without doubt one of the best copies you will find of this rare masterpeice.  I will describe the condition but first take a look at the pictures and see for yourself.  I take photographs from all angles so you can see exactly what is on offer.  Nothing is hidden as seems to be the way with some sellers these days.

This record has been stored upright in a dark cupboard in a protective cover for 40+ years.  It has been rarely played prior to my check play today. The playing surfaces are near perfect with beautiful shine. I have checked under a bright light and there are just a few very slight and whispy sleeve removal marks and some evidence of use in the shape of a few very light handling marks. There is nothing of significance and the analogue sound is remarkable,  with no clicks , pops or crackle.  Even silence between tracks ! The visual grade is EXCELLENT+, the audio NEAR MINT.  This has an amazingly clear, punchy sound. Very rare to find a genuine first pressing of this LP in such outstanding shape.

As mentioned, this is a very early pressing as indicated by the early stampers. Also, only for a short time was this album pressed with the tan labels.  Later copies with the red labels are much easier to come by.  The two here are in lovely unmarked condition with just a couple of spindle trails on each label.

The Robert Stace gatefold cover is in fabulous condition.  The laminated front and back shine like new, the inside is spotless, the spine is near perfect.  There is a very minor crease to each lower corner on the inside of the gatefold.  There are no other creases .  All corners are sharp . The opening edges have no wear or feathering.  There are no marks, dents, scribbles, laminate splits or any other damage to this lovely cover.  The cover is graded as EXCELLENT+

The record is housed in its polythene lined Decca inner sleeve.  This is dated 10/71 and is the original from the day of issue. A few creases but still in EXCELLENT+  condition.

It would be difficult, to find a better copy of this pressing as it was pressed in such small quantities.  I have sold many records on Ebay of all genres, including classical, jazz, rock , ska and many others.  You can see my feedback if you wish.  I grade strictly and honestly as I know the importance of accuracy when it comes to selling to discerning collectors.

Postage is available worldwide and will be by UK 1st Class Recorded / International Signed for with insurance to cover the final price of the item.  Please do not pay until I send the invoice.  Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the buyer is not satisfied.  This is subject to the safe return of the item.  I do not give partial refunds.  My records are sent in high quality cruciform mailers so the record will reach you in perfect condition.

Thankyou for taking the time to read this listing. If you have any questions I will try to answer them promptly.
