: CARAVAN, ‘WATERLOO LILY’ FIRST ISSUE UK DERAM/DECCA STEREO VINYL LP, CATALOGUE NUMBER, SDL- 8.
A superb example of Caravan’s fourth 1972 UK album release on the first issue Brown/White Large Deram Labels.
Waterloo Lily is a 1972 released album by Caravan on the Deram label. It is the only album made by Caravan with Steve Miller as the keyboard player. He brought a jazzier feel to the sound of Caravan than had been heard on the previous album. The track "The Love in Your Eye" has been featured as a live track for many years by the band. The album cover detail "The Tavern Scene" is from A Rake's Progress by William Hogarth.
Both record labels are in superb Near Mint condition, bright and undamaged record labels with just a couple of light signs of play to the centre of each label.
Side 1 matrix information side 1: ZAL- 11258.P-3W and Side 2: ZAL 11259.P-3W. Both sides of the immaculate Vinyl LP are in beautiful Near Mint condition, beautiful clean, bright Vinyl surfaces to both sides with nothing more than a couple of hairlines.
The LP plays through both sides without faults.
The LP comes in it’s original blue print polythene lined inner bag, and is protected in it’s original gatefold picture sleeve which is in Excellent condition, the sleeve shows a couple of light creases and some staining to the top inside of the gatefold.
This is a superb example of this original 1972 UK Stereo Caravan Album.
