I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTONISHING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more in-depth observation. CARAVAN - WATERLOO LILY - SDL 8 - VERTIGO UK 1972
***********SUPERB CLASSIC ALBUM *******************
 THESE ARE GETTING IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN UP NOW IN ANY DECENT CONDITION!!ONE OF THEIR FOUR CLASSIC ALBUMS!!! Despite a few retraction hairlines, there are NO skips,  jumps  or sticks. Unbelievably as it may sound there is not much background noise at all and whatever there might be gets drown out by the powerful songs. A few light clicks on side 2, again not really intrusive.These earliest pressings are just bulletproof! I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!

Vinyl: VG+.  This has a few retraction type hairlines on each side. It still has a really nice sheen to it. I have played this all the way. Nothing ever compares to a first press and this is no different with fantastic stereo channel separation. On side 2 some light pops that are not intrusive. There is  hardly ever any static noise.  Of course there are NO skips or jumps.

Gatefold Sleeve: EX+. A super sleeve!!! Rich colours, hardly any wear at all. NO writing, NO smudges. Beautiful straight edges with the only edgewear restricted to the bottom edge. The top  and bottom edge have NO wear. the spine is fully 100% legible and looks as new. The inside gatefold is perfect. Two miniscule creases on the corners. One light rubber stamp of British Services Library to the back and a small round sticker near the top. It should be not too hard to remove this if you like. This must rate as one of the best sleeves of this album I have ever come across (and I have seen a fair few in the past but hardly shows up these days).  An absolutely great sleeve, it will prove very hard to better this one.

Inner sleeve: This has the correct blue printed polylined inner.
