You are bidding on a brand new, sealed copy of Carcass's Swansong, reissued by Earache Records a few months back. This is the Pink Vinyl edition, which is limited to 200 copies worldwide. The LP is housed in a standard dust cover and is a color and was imported directly from Europe.
The final installment of Earache-era Carcass has now been given the FDR treatment, especially for this release. Pressed from the original tapes, this Full Dynamic Range vinyl allows the music's nuances to shine through and giving the whole album a more ferocious and dynamic sound than ever before, and enabling the listener to immerse in the full audio chaos like never before. This full dynamic range release is a reaction to the loudness war which has affected the music scene since the '90s, with artists and labels striving to producer ever-louder CDs. Earache firmly believes the playback volume should be in the hands of the listener, not the producer - that's what the volume control is for!
Ahead of it's time for many on it's 1995 releases, the album' brilliance has shone like a Black star as it's listeners have matured. Now a firm favourite of many with its melodic and rocky moments hinting at the directions that Bill, Jeff and Ken would explore in their subsequent bands, though maintaining the caustic edge we have all come to expect from the legendary Carcass.
Shipping will be USPS Media Mail (flat rate) of $3.75, and will ship from Maryland. Specify whether you want the vinyl to remained sealed, or if you prefer the shrink wrap removed and vinyl taken out of the cover (my preferred option, as it avoids possible seam splits while in transit).
