Description

CARDIAC ARREST EP UK PUNK DIY 1979 RARE CARDIACS
Cardiac Arrest - EP A Bus For A Bus On A Bus / A Cake For Bertie’s Party / Food On The Wall - Tortch Records TOR-002  1979 + original PICTURE SLEEVE
Condition EX+ / VG+
Excellent EP from theis self-labelled ‘acid Punk band’ released on Tortch Records, the same label that brought us The Directions - Three Bands Tonight EP, Second Layer EPs and The Sound debut 7”. The three tracks mix Punk with Zappa to create an uptempo, jerky DIY sound that they would develop some years later as The Cardiacs. The EP was limited to just 1000 copies and has become very sought after, but hard to locate. An essential item for Punk, DIY and Cardiacs collectors .
