CARL MARTIN & HOWARD ARMSTRONG "CARL MARTIN 1930-36" (transcibed 78's) IMP. mono lp on Wolf WSE 123 Austria issue (1980's???) NM/VG+. I would grade this LP NM, as it looks and plays pretty much as the day it was unsealed, with minimal play and minimal, if any, cosmetic marks. (Please keep in mind that some labels -- Crown, United, even a lot of Atlantic -- were recorded with less than state-of-the-art technology, my point being that some labels sound better than others.) Cream of the crop. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). ALL LPS COME TO YOU FRESHLY CLEANED AND PLAY READY. FOR MAXIMUM RESULTS RE-CLEAN EACH SIDE AFTER INITIAL PLAY (SOME OF MY LPS HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR 40 YRS. OR MORE). (VINYL LPS ARE A CONTACT SPORT. ALL VINYL (EVEN IF JUST UNSEALED) HAS SOME SURFACE NOISE. IF YOU CAN’T ACCEPT THAT YOU SHOULD BE BUYING CDS) COMMENTS: I discovered Carl martin in the 70's as part of the great and very unique MARTIN,BOGAN&ARMSTRONG trio. A great and very unusual trio!!!!!!
The Jacket: In black magic marker, my initials back upper left, an x back lower left. A very functional jacket. I would rate the cover VG+ overall with bent corners and a little cracking consistent with this Euro style jacket. Still nice!! (I only be citing things not visible in pictures)(I do not remove stickers unless they come off easily. I leave that for the buyer).
