Description
Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE & ARTIST: "Boppin' the Blues/All Mama's Children" - by Carl Perkins on the SUN Record label (243), in beautiful original monophonic sound, issued circa 1956.
CONDITION: SLEEVE - N/A; RECORD - VG+(SUN 78 rpm record has light to moderate scuff wear; plays very well with no skips - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight; played on my 78 player).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Now for some classic rock'n'roll! This 10" SUN Records 78 rpm record was issued in the mid fifties, and featured the legendary voice and guitar of Carl Perkins. The record is in fine condition, with a few marks. If you love the world of vintage rock/rockabilly records from more than a half-century ago, please don't miss this one.
TRACKS: Side 1: Boppin' the Blues; Side 2: All Mama's Children. Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck.
OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
