Description
Up for auction with NO RESERVE is "Investigation No. 1" by The Carl 'Sherlock' Holmes Investigation on the tiny private CRS Records label, catalog #CRS-01. The LP is NM- with a couple sleeve marks, but looks unplayed. The cover is still in the original shrinkwrap and would be NM except for some light foxing on back from being stored in a basement for awhile. This is a super rare soul/funk record where Carl tries to close "the gap between R&B, jazz and psychedelic rock by the creation of a sound that is funky, mellow, intricately soulful and explosive, yet uniquely disciplined in its complexity" (from the liner notes). All records are shipped outside of the album cover in a brand new sleeve and are packed in dedicated record mailers with sturdy cardboard inserts. Shipping is $7.00 via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the US or Airmail to Canada. $14.00 via Priority Mail International to Europe, the UK, Japan, Asia and Australia.
