CARLOS MALCOLM AND HIS AFRO-JAMAICAN RHYTHMS - SPACE FLIGHT

1960s Upbeat LP      UPBEAT 102                                             

Original 1960s deep-grooved pressing in very nice condition.

I'm not sure whether this is a JA or US pressing -  the cover has a Kingston address but there is no mention on the labels and the vinyl has little sign of the pressing irregularities normally associated with JA pressings (or perhaps early 60s JA pressings were better). 

The deadwax has hand-etched "3114 A" and "3114 B" matrices.

RECORD - EX   Full lustre. Some light surface sleeve scuffs/marks and a trace of non-sounding groovewear. Plays superbly! 

LABELS -  NM-   Please see the pictures.

COVER - EX   Still in opened partial shrink (half the shrink is missing on the back). There is a 4cm split in the outer layer on the top seam at the opening (see last picture) and some rubbing along the edges of the front cover slick - otherwise in superb shape. Sticker is on shrink not on cover itself.

 

GRADING SCALE:   M/NM/EX/VG/G(+/-) visual grading - not play tested unless specifically indicated above. NM is near mint not mint - I do not use M except for an unplayed record.
