Description

This Carole King and Toni Stern song, BLUES FOR A YOUNG GIRL GONE, is sung by Carole King and has never been released on her records as far as I can tell.  It was recorded by the STRAWBERRY ALARM CLOCK on their lp:  THE WORLD IN A SEASHELL.  But this is Carole King singing with nice production values.  Sounds so 60's!!  There's even "bong, bong"s that make it a little like the ASSOCIATION!  This is a 10" acetate and is in very nice shape for having been made 40 years ago (1968).  Acetates wear out faster than vinyl and this one has not been played that much.  This is highly collectible and serious collectors only should bid.  It comes in the original sleeve and includes the sheetmusic from Screen Gems-Columbia Music Inc. Acetates were used back in the day to help place songs with artists.  They and the sheetmusic are things of the past.  These days you're lucky if you can get an MP3 out of a publishing company!
